Our residential and community-based programs are designed to foster independence, build life skills, and support individuals in leading meaningful, self-directed lives.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a key role in supporting the individuals we serve. Encourage and support our individuals with independent living skills. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about caring for others.

What You’ll Do:
  • Treat individuals with dignity and respect while promoting a supportive atmosphere.
  • Work as part of a collaborative team alongside residential management and peers to create a positive and safe environment.
  • Provide hands-on support, assisting with daily living skills, including personal care, dressing, cooking, cleaning and laundry.
  • Administer medications taken by individuals.
  • Transport, assist and advocate on medical appointments.
  • Initiate and follow through on leisure time activities.
  • Assist in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the home.
  • Complete accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (Therap) on every shift.
  • Provide necessary First Aid and CPR to individuals in need.

Qualifications:
  • Applicants must be caring, responsible, and reliable.
  • Must be passionate about working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to promote independence and well-being.
  • Must be able to successfully undergo required pre-employment drug screening, fingerprinting, Child Abuse Record Information (CARI) application, Central Registry background check, physical/PPD testing, training and must provide professional references.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma/GED and a valid driver's license (in good standing and not in probationary status).
